A complete starter irrigation system designed for small to medium farms. Delivers water uniformly across your field, reducing runoff and ensuring every plant gets the right amount of moisture for optimal growth.
Measure your field and sketch the irrigation lines before installation. Identify the water source (tap, tank, or borehole) and plan the mainline route from it to your crop rows.
Unroll the main supply pipe along the edge of your field. Connect one end to the water source using the included fitting. Keep the pipe taut and peg it into the ground every 2–3 metres.
Use the punch tool (included) to make holes in the mainline at each crop row. Insert the barbed connectors and attach the thin lateral drip lines along each row, placing emitters every 30 cm near plant roots.
Open the water supply slowly and check all connections for leaks. Adjust the flow control valve to achieve a slow, steady drip. Walk the field to confirm all emitters are working evenly.
For most crops, irrigate in the early morning (5–8 AM) to minimise evaporation. Typical run time is 30–60 minutes depending on soil type. Adjust frequency based on weather — less in rainy season, more during dry spells.
Flush the mainline once a week by opening the end caps for 30 seconds to clear debris. Inspect emitters monthly and replace any that are blocked or broken. Store the kit in shade when not in use to extend pipe life.
Pressure-compensating emitters ensure every plant receives the same water volume regardless of field slope.
Drip lines place water directly at the root zone, reducing evaporation loss by up to 60% compared to flood irrigation.
All fittings, connectors, and a punch tool are included. No special tools or plumbing experience needed.
Pipes and fittings are made from UV-stabilised PVC rated for outdoor use in full tropical sun.
Inline flow control valve lets you fine-tune water output for different crops or growth stages.
Additional lateral lines and emitters can be purchased separately to extend coverage as your farm grows.
