LUNA Smart Pesticide
A broad-spectrum systemic pesticide that controls sucking and chewing insects on field crops, vegetables, and horticulture. Fast knockdown with residual protection lasting up to 14 days.
How to Use
Identify the Pest
Confirm the pest species before applying. LUNA is most effective against sucking insects (aphids, whitefly, thrips) and soil-feeding larvae. Check both leaf surfaces and stem bases for signs of infestation.
Wear PPE
Put on gloves, long-sleeved clothing, eye protection, and a face mask before handling. Keep children and animals away from the mixing area.
Mix the Solution
Dissolve 10 g (one level tablespoon) per 10 litres of clean water for general pest control. For heavy infestations increase to 15 g per 10 litres. Always add the powder to water — not water to powder. Stir well until fully dissolved.
Spray Timing
Apply in the early morning (before 9 AM) or late afternoon (after 5 PM) to avoid heat and wind. Do not spray if rain is expected within 4 hours. Spray both the upper and lower leaf surfaces for thorough coverage.
Application Rate
Use 200–400 litres of spray solution per hectare depending on crop canopy size. For small plots, estimate 2–4 litres per 100 m². Repeat application after 7–10 days if pest pressure remains high.
After Application
Rinse all equipment three times with clean water. Dispose of empty packaging safely — do not reuse for food or water. Observe the 7-day pre-harvest interval before picking treated crops.

Safety & Resistance Management
- Rotate with a different insecticide class (e.g., organophosphate or pyrethroid) after 2 consecutive applications to prevent resistance development.
- Do not apply near water sources, ponds, or beehives. LUNA is toxic to bees — avoid spraying open flowers during pollination.
- Store in a cool, dry, locked place away from food, seeds, and fertilisers. Keep in original packaging with lid tightly closed.
- If accidental skin contact occurs, wash immediately with soap and water for 15 minutes. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting — seek medical attention immediately with the label.
- Maximum 3 applications per crop season to stay within MRL (Maximum Residue Limits) for export crops.
